Well, fall is coming in like a lion, but since we don’t have any say about what Mother Nature dishes out, we’ll just enjoy what we can, turn up the thermostat, and keep our rain coats handy. Regardless of the weather, we are all fortunate to be residents of The Big Sky Country, rain, snow, or shine. How many blessings of that fact can you count?

Come on down to the Arlee Senior Center for a good noon lunch Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and on this next Saturday night stop in for a roast beef dinner and apple pie.

Menus for the rest of October:

— Friday, Oct. 21: Asian chicken salad, baked beans, fruit, cookies

— Saturday, Oct. 22: roast beef dinner, topped off with apple pie

— Monday, Oct. 24: pork chops ‘n gravy, mashed potatoes, coleslaw and apple-crisp

— Wednesday, Oct. 26: cowboy beans ‘n corn bread, cheese tray, fruit, and pumpkin cookies

— Friday, Oct. 28: biscuits ‘n sausage gravy w/a patty, sliced tomatoes and pumpkin bars

— Monday, Oct. 31: fried chicken, potatoes, gravy, salad, fruit and cake

Have a safe and Happy Halloween, and be sure to stop in to enjoy the Haunted House on McMurtrie Street in Arlee.
