POLSON — If all is not lost, then where the heck is it? And to prevent losing it all, plan to attend our fraud prevention clinic which will be held here on Thursday, Sept. 29, from 4-6 p.m. A police officer will be here to talk about it. The public is invited to attend.
I am looking for a volunteer; someone who I can call with a couple of hours’ notice to come in and help me for an hour whenever I get jammed with too many riders, all with very same appointment hours. You would be using one of our vehicles. Rewards: My eternal thanks and a free lunch.
There will be no veterans’ representative here on the first Friday in October.
Plan ahead for the “AARP Safe Driving” class on Oct. 11. The class is from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. with a break for lunch.
Our lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, Sept. 29: sausage gravy, biscuits
— Friday, Sept. 30: ham and cheese sandwich, macaroni salad
— Monday, Oct. 3: Goulash, French bread
— Tuesday, Oct. 4: pork cutlets, rice and gravy
— Wednesday, Oct. 5: hash brown bake, link sausage
All meals are accompanied with vegetables and a dessert.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
