RONAN — Thirty-six percent of individuals at 50 years of age or older are victims of ID theft. Dan Buchta of BBB will make a presentation on Friday, August 26, about how to protect yourself during our birthday dinner. All ages are welcome at the center.
The center opens at 9 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. All meals are open to the public of any age and the building is wheelchair accessible.
Noon meals are $5, if you are under 60 years old and $4 if you are over 60 years old. All meals come with fruit, veggies, bread and dessert.
Menu:
— Friday, Aug. 26: roast beef
— Monday, Aug. 29: pork stir-fry
— Wednesday, Aug. 31: tuna rice bake; crafts and painting class at 1 p.m.
— Friday, Sept. 2: cheese burgers
For free transportation to Mission Valley Senior Center call 406-676-2368. Home delivered meals are available to shut-ins. Call the center at 406-676-2371 before 10:30 a.m. to order or cancel a meal.
