ARLEE — The Arlee Senior Center received a second anonymous donation of bags of potatoes. We send our thanks and much appreciation to whoever you are. You are very generous!
A raffle for the Blackfoot Telephone Company items continues with tickets selling for $1 each. The drawing will take place at the Aug. 27 dinner.
Just a reminder: On the third Monday of the month, Aug. 15, there will be a Foot Care Clinic at the Arlee Senior Center, at 10:30 a.m. Blood pressure checks will also be available. The care is sponsored through the Lake County Council on Aging and there is no fee. Donations are welcome however, to assist with equipment and supplies.
Menus for Wednesday, Aug.10-22:
— Lunches are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at noon and dinners are served the second and fourth Saturdays of each month at 6 p.m. All are welcome.
— Wednesday, Aug. 10: creamed chicken and peas on biscuits, relishes, peach cobbler dessert — Friday, Aug. 12: roasted Brats with bell peppers and onions, green salad, fruit, dessert
— Saturday, Aug. 13: barbecue rib dinner, melons, angel cake and berries
— Monday, Aug. 15: Chicken Alfredo with noodles, salad, fruit and dessert
— Wednesday, Aug. 17: taco bar with meat, beans, cheese, veggies, fruit and dessert
— Friday, Aug. 19: baked ham dinner, salad, fruit, lemon bars
— Monday, Aug. 22: pork chop dinner, salad, dessert
