Have you ever attended a session of the Montana legislature? It is a real eye-opener to see how conscientious our representatives are, the scope of their work, and the long hours they dedicate to serving us. While their decisions may not always please us, there is not a one from Lake County who does not agonize over the votes they cast. Have you ever put yourself in their place and realize all the factors that must be weighed? The Lake County Republican Women watched all this when they "stormed the hill" in February.
Join us in honoring them at the third annual brunch sponsored by the Lake County Republican Women's Club on Saturday, May 14. Former Governor Judy Martz will be the guest speaker.
Our legislators serve all the people, and all of our fellow citizens, regardless of party affiliation, are welcome.
The catered brunch is at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, at the Polson VFW at 423 Main St. Tickets are $15. Contact Kathryn Johnson, 883-9367 or pick tickets up at The Irish Rose clothing consignment shop on Highway 93 between Subway and State Farm Insurance before the May 10 deadline.
Raffle and silent auction items will be sold to help fund the educational projects of the club.
