Vehicles collide in rural Polson

A car that failed to yield resulted in a wreck Friday afternoon in a rural area of Polson. The female driver of a Subaru Outback heading southbound on Dubay Road did not stop at the intersection of Minesinger Trail, according to the driver of an eastbound truck. The truck hit the passenger side of the Subaru, sending the car flipping onto its top into a wheat field.The driver of the car was taken to St. Luke Hospital.
The truck received damage but the driver did not appear injured. “The (truck) driver said she ran the stop sign,” said Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Aaron Day.
