POLSON — Mission Valley Christian Academy has worked diligently over the last three years to upgrade the current school van.
Safety and reliability issues were the main concerns in making this improvement in transporting students to events. With more than 80 students enrolled at MVCA, this was a top priority for the leadership to replace the older school van. MVCA wrote grants, held a car show last fall and finally this spring was able to purchase a 2014 Ford 15 passenger van from Pierce in Ronan. Travel to field trips, soccer, volleyball and ultimate Frisbee competitions and other events will now give parents more confidence in student safety. Many individuals and businesses contributed to this fundraising effort and the school is thrilled to share this new blessing with our communities. MVCA would like to thank Polson Glacier Bank and the Polson branch of the Whitefish Credit Union in particular for their generous support.
