PABLO — USDA Rural Development, in partnership with Salish and Kootenai Housing Authority, will be in Pablo at 56243 US Hwy 93 on Wednesday, June 15.
USDA staff will be available for one-on-one appointments from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you have any questions regarding Rural Development funding for Homeownership or Home Repair, call SKHA Mary Driscoll at 406-675-4491 ext. 1517 to make an appointment.
Rural Development Housing programs assist applicants obtain home ownership in rural areas by providing payment assistance to increase an applicant’s repayment ability. Payment assistance is a type of subsidy that reduces the mortgage payment for a short time. In addition, for current very-low-income homeowners, loans are available to repair, improve or modernize their homes. Or, grants may be available for very-low-income homeowners age 62 or older to remove health and safety hazards.”
