Parade, ceremony to honor law enforcement

POLSON — In honor of Peace Officer’s Memorial Day and Police Week, the Polson Police Department is hosting this year’s Law Enforcement Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony on Wednesday, May 18. This is the day and time to pay tribute to those who are fallen and are remembered in our hearts and in the memory of our country. We also want to remember and recognize those who serve athe profession daily, through their service and secrifice, thay have earned our respect and gratitude.
The parade begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Polson Walmart parking area and will proceed down Highway 93 north to Main Street. The parade will turn south on Fifth Avenue and head east to Linderman Elementary School gym, where a ceremony will take place at 12:30 p.m.
The community is invited to attend the ceremony that will honor the law enforcement profession.
