Ronan Police Department holds lost bicycle viewing

RONAN — The Ronan Police Department has a lost and found inventory of bicycles and wants to return the bicycles back to their rightful owners.

The bicycles still in their inventory were unable to be linked back to their owners through the usual means, and in effort to allow people to recover their bicycles, the Ronan Police Department is planning to let people view the inventory on Friday, May 27 and Saturday, May 28 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ronan Police Department.

Residents can contact Officer Acheson at 406-676-0223 if they believe their bicycle might be in the inventory. Ownership will then be verified with a written certification by the claimant.

Register your bike in Ronan

RONAN — The Ronan Police Department now offers a bicycle registration program. Bicycle registration will be available at the Ronan Police Department during business hours, and is free to the public.

To register a bicycle, bring the following information: Owner name, address, city, zip, phone number, school (if applicable), and serial number, make, model, type, color, wheel size and frame size. There is no need to bring the bicycle to register it. A bicycle registration sticker will be provided to you to place on the bicycle.
