Bulldogs down Troy, Seeley-Swan to get to 9-7

The Bulldogs pulled out a close game Friday and picked up a blowout win Saturday as Mission got a pair of victories to improve to 9-7 in the season.
Stuart Grant's clutch free throws were the difference in the fourth quarter in Troy Friday as the Bulldogs earned a 32-28 win.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a 9-6 lead after one quarter of play but Troy was able to close the gap in the second quarter to leave Mission up just 13-12 at the half. Mission stretched its lead to 23-20 after three quarters and was able to hold on down the stretch to get the win.
Grant led the way for the Bulldogs in the win with 14 points while Austin Durglo added nine, Josh Durglo scored eight and Spencer Ahlborn chipped in with one point.
The Bulldogs had no problem picking up a win Saturday as Mission blew past the Blackhawks at Seeley-Swan, 51-31.
Austin Durglo provided the offense in the first three quarters and Grant caught fire in the second half as Grant finished with 20 points to lead the Bulldogs while Austin finished with 15.
The Bulldogs will be at Plains Thursday before closing out the regular season at home against Thompson Falls Saturday.
The 10th ranked Lady Bulldogs picked up a win over Troy Friday but hit a road bump Saturday as they fell to Class C Seeley-Swan.
Mission won the scoring battle in all four quarters against Troy Friday but the third quarter was truly the difference as the Lady Bulldogs blasted the Trojans 19-2 in the frame. Mission went on to win 53-23.
Kyla Mitchell led the way for Mission in the win with 15 points while Stephanie Lewandowski added eight and Loren Erickson and Cecelia Koskela each scored six.
The Lady Bulldogs just couldn't seem to get things going at Seeley-Swan Saturday as the Lady Blackhawks jumped out to a 13-8 lead after one quarter before outscoring Mission 23-14 in the second to build a 36-22 halftime advantage.
Mission won the second-half battle, 16-13, but it was not enough as Seeley-Swan held on to pick up their second win over a ranked opponent in two days.
Mitchell and Lewandowski each scored 11 points for Mission in the loss.
The Lady Bulldogs will be at home for senior night against Plains Tuesday before finishing up the regular season at Thompson Falls Saturday.
