Rural Fire Board to meet in Big Arm
BIG ARM — The Polson Rural Fire Board monthly meeting will convene April 13 at the Big Arm Fire Station at 7 p.m. The board plans to schedule April and October meetings in Big Arm.
American Legion to hold district meeting in Ronan

RONAN — About 60 Legionnaires and members of the Auxiliary are expected to attend the spring meeting of District No. 4 on Sunday, April 3 at the Mission Valley Senior Center in Ronan.
There are about 1,100 Legionnaires in District No. 4 with Posts in Thompson Falls, Columbia Falls, Eureka, Bigfork, Libby, St. Ignatius, Whitefish, Polson, Charlo, Paradise, Kalispell, Ronan, and Troy.
Registration will begin at 9 a.m. with the program beginning at 10 a.m. Department Commander Jim Grosset of Calgary will be the guest speaker at the noon banquet.
The Legion business meeting will begin at 1:10 p.m. Jack Fay, Commander of American Legion Post #138 in Ronan, will conduct the Legion meeting. The District President, Mary Beth Stroklund of Libby, will conduct the Auxiliary meeting.

This is also your opportunity to see and purchase a ticket for the beautiful acrylic painting “Arlee Spring “ by Karl Stein that is being raffled off to help support the Gallery.
Come meet the artists, and explore this surprising art destination located on Highway 93 North. The show remains up until June 17. Jitro to perform in Polson
POLSON — Mission Valley Live will present Jitro, a children’s choir from the Czech Republic, on March 30 at 7 p.m. in the Polson High School auditorium.
The concert series supports local organizations by providing vouchers that are distributed to organization members and their supporters prior to the concert. After the ticket is purchased with the voucher, 50 percent of the ticket price will be returned to the organization. This concert will support the Flathead Lakers.
