Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases June 8-14:
Brandon Lee Montgomery, 24, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 166 suspended, and fined $600 plus $85 in court costs.
Brandon Joseph Jeppesen, 27, pleaded not guilty to the amended offense of assault, purposely or knowingly causing bodily injury to another. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 179 suspended, and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
Jesus Raul Madrigal, 28, was found guilty of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, marijuana (60 grams or less), second offense. He was fined $150 plus $85 in court costs.
Rick L. Orden, 50, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 166 suspended, and fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. Orden also pleaded not guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, third or subsequent offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 170 suspended, and fined $500 plus $35 in court costs.
Hollie Fisher, 46, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all suspended, and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs. Fisher also pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, third or subsequent offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 170 suspended, and fined $450 plus $35 in court costs. If Fisher provides proof of six months’ continuous insurance, five days of jail will be deferred.
Michael John Westmark, 63, pleaded no contest to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Jacob Fitzgerald Grebetz, 23, pleaded not guilty to failure to give notice of accident by quickest means/apparent damage over $500. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs. Grebetz also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.
Dawn Marie Clark Helen Mayer, 21, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs. Mayer also pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. She was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
Amanda Sue Hout, 22, pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, third or subsequent offense. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 175 suspended, and fined $450 plus $35 in court costs. If she provides proof of six months’ continuous insurance, three days of jail will be waived.
Kayla V. Campos-Courchane, 17, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license, has never possessed. She was found guilty and fined $65 plus $35 in court costs.
Robin Craig Bunker, 51, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Sean Patrick Marshall, 19, pleaded guilty to failure to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, third or subsequent offense. He was found guilty and fined $450 plus $35 in court costs.
