News from the Polson School District Board of Trustees
POLSON — The Polson School District Board of Trustees conducted interviews with the finalists for the Superintendent position on Tuesday, March 1. After lengthy discussion, the board could not come to a decision on one stand-out candidate. Upon further discussion, the board scheduled a work session meeting for Thursday, March 10, at 5:30 p.m. in the school administration building board room.
It was a consensus that the entire board will review all of the applications at that time to determine if there are any other applicants that may warrant an interview and, if not, to discuss additional options.
Board Chair Caroline McDonald stated that the three candidates interviewed have not been eliminated from the process. The administration and staff of the district applauded the board for the process and thanked them for the opportunity to participate in the process. The board thanked the staff for the help in arranging meetings, lunch, snacks, and shuttling the candidates.
