Charlo Vikings
CHARLO – Thursday, Jan. 14 the Charlo Vikings put forth their best efforts to beat Arlee. In the first quarter the Vikings were only down by six points, but it was the second quarter that lost them the game. The Vikings scored 21 points in the second quarter compared to the 31 points Arlee put up. The Vikings lost 61-97. Leading the Vikings was Jade Smith with 15 points.
The following night the Vikings were looking for redemption in front of their home crowd. They hosted Hot Springs on Friday, Jan. 15. Tyson Petticrew had 24 points on the night, but it just wasn’t enough during the Vikings loss 52-70.

Ronan Chiefs
RONAN – The Ronan Chiefs were only down four points at the half of their Jan. 14 game against Anaconda. Kasey Mock fought to keep his team alive in the second half, but the team overall came up a bit short. Mock had 11 points on the night, but it was not enough for a win. The Chiefs lost the home game, 48-84. Other top scorers for the Chiefs were Aaron Misa (10) and Perry Panzetanga (9).

RONAN – At an away game against Florence on Friday, Jan. 15, the Ronan Maidens played a close game. With the lead changing over eight times between the two opponents, the Maidens pulled away with a 59-50 win. Leading the team was Lee Camel with 20 points hitting six out of nine free throws. Other key players in the team’s win were Micalann McCrea and Alicia Camel both with 12 points.
