POLSON — When I was a child I thought naptime was punishment. Now it’s like a mini vacation.
The veterans’ representative will be here on Jan. 8 and again on Jan. 19. The representative’s February schedule is Feb. 5 and 16. The toenail clinic will held be on Wednesday, Jan. 13, from 10 a.m.-noon.
For those still with a sweet tooth following the holidays, we still have a good selection of See’s Candy for sale.
Reserve your date and time to have your taxes prepared here beginning Feb. 1.
Friday night bingo will resume on Jan. 8.
Charlie Crevar with her 221 and 564 took high women’s game and women’s series at senior bowling. Frani Basta’s 717 captured the handicap series. Keith Ross seems to have hit his stride, sweeping high game, series and handicap series with his 243, 651 and 750.
Our lunch menu for the coming week:
Thursday, Jan. 7: soft shell tacos, salsa and sour cream
Friday, Jan. 8: sloppy Joes, potato wedges
Monday, Jan. 11: vegetable beef soup
Tuesday, Jan. 12: hamburger steak, rice
Wed. Jan. 13: fish sandwich, potato wedges
All the meals are accompanied with vegetables and a dessert.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
