Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases Jan. 14-20:
Jason Michael White, 24, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended. White was also fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.
Robert Wayne Watt, 34, pleaded guilty to speeding on non-interstate, exceeding day limit of 70 mph. He was cited at 96 mph and fined $70. Watt also pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. These citations were issued in March 2010. He was found guilty on both charges and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 suspended, credited for time served, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Robert Wayne Watt, 34, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was guilty and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 175 suspended, and credited for 64 hours served. He was also fined $350 and $35 in court costs. Watt also pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, second offense. He was found guilty and sentenced to 10 days in jail with eight suspended, and credited for 64 hours served. Watt was also fined $350 plus $35 in court costs. Both of these citations were issued in May 2010.
James A. Erickson, 55, pleaded not guilty to an amended sentence of reckless driving. He was found guilty and sentenced to 90 days in jail with all suspended, fined $300, and charged $35 in court costs.
Thomas Lee Lamarr, 23, pleaded not guilty to speeding, driving 67 mph in a posted 45 mph restricted/special zone. He was found guilty and fined $830 (including fees for a jury trial) plus $35 in court costs.
Edward Joseph McGreevey, 79, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
Alyssa V. Fritsen, 20, pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18), first offense. She was found guilty and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
Whitney Nicole Phillips, 23, pleaded guilty to displaying license plates assigned to another vehicle. She was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
Eduardo Naranjo Barragan, 27, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs. Barragan also pleaded guilty to Montana resident operating with foreign driver’s license over 60 days. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $35 in court costs.
David Anthony Siegfried, 51, pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. He was found guilty and fined $65 plus $35 in court costs.
Dean Antonio Flynn, 27, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 365 days with all suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs. Flynn was credited for serving 24 hours.
Tristan T. McClure, 18, pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18), first offense. He was found guilty and fined $100 plus $85 in court costs.
Travis William Adams, 25, pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. He was found guilty and fined $65 plus $35 in court costs.
Charles Henry Zeiler, Jr., pleaded guilty to a right of way violation, failing to obey requirements of a yield sign. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs.
