The Mission Charlo wrestling team finished ninth with 72 points at the Bob Kinney Invitational in Superior.
“I was very happy with our performance over the weekend, especially with the way our young wrestlers competed,” coach Lyle Cronk said adding that he was excited about the team’s progress this year.
Bailey Wieble pinned Superior’s Jack Mitchell in 3:07 to claim the first place title at 120 pounds. Israel Umphrey pinned George Schick in 1:21 to claim the third place title at 160 pounds. Chris Anderson pinned Even Hall of Superior in 2:07 to place third at 205 pounds, and Ethan Goss-Dickie placed second in the 285-pound class.
