RONAN — Polson Boxing Club adapted a great three-point (success) knockout punch: their winning slogan is: “All members are expected to show up on time, do their best and encourage their team mates...” Wow, thanks Boxing Club for words of wisdom. The Mission Valley Senior Center would do well to take that advice.
The board is hard at work making “success” our goal while encouraging all of us to step into the “ring” of activities.
Bailey Insurance will be at the center from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Nov. 4. The Smart Driving Course will be taught from 9 a.m.- 1p.m. on Nov. 5. On Nov. 6, New West Insurance will be available at the center from 10:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. You can play bingo on this day too. The Polson Senior Center board meeting takes place starting at 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 9. Crafts are worked on after lunch on Nov. 11. The Council on Aging board meeting has yet to be arranged. There will soon be news on 50/50 play. Bingo will be played on Nov. 13; call for starting time at 406-676-2371. We are always having fun.
Upcoming activities include: information on Medicare Part D, cards, commodities, a raffle drawing and bake sale, a foot clinic by Jane and a Tack meeting at 10 a.m. on Nov. 19 Please call for more details and other items of business at 406-676-2171. Ask for ask for Alberta, Martha or Auggie. Lynette handles Meals on Wheels and is a happy person as are Faye and Kim our wonderful volunteers. Love to them all. See you at the center.
