Court self-help set in Polson
POLSON — The Missoula County Court Help Program is expanding their free services to counties outside of Missoula, and will be in Polson every other Tuesday, beginning Nov. 3, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The center’s mission is to provide access to justice through legal information and documents. The program provides assistance with civil cases including divorce, parenting plans, landlord/tenant disputes and more.

Public meeting set for Ice Arena
POLSON — Mission Valley Ice Arena Committee is calling all ice hockey players, curlers, skating enthusiasts, and the general public to a meeting on Monday, Nov. 9, at 6 p.m. in the Echo Room of the Red Lion Inn to discuss its plans for building a refrigerated ice rink in Polson.
A business plan summary, the Paradigm Missoula architectural firm’s digital 3D conceptual plan for the Ice Arena, and renderings, will be on hand for the public to view.
“Input from the community is very important for the success of this project,” committee member Linda Greenwood said. “We hope to see a large turnout.”
Costume sale to benefit junior class
RONAN — A costume rummage sale will take place Friday, Oct. 30, from 3:30-6 p.m. in the Black Box Theater at Ronan Middle School. The proceeds will go to the junior class for this year’s prom. Cash only.
