NOXON – The Lady Vikings downed Noxon in a battle of undefeated teams, improving Charlo’s record to 2-0 in conference and 6-0 overall heading into the holiday break. The only remaining undefeated team in District 14-C is the Superior Bobcats, who Charlo will play first thing back from the holiday break on Jan. 6.
Against the Red Devils, Charlo led 6-4 lead the first eight minutes of play. As the second quarter progressed, the Lady Vikings began to hit the mark on offense, outscoring Noxon 12-4 in the second, leading 18-8 at halftime.
Charlo’s defense held Noxon to seven points in the third and eight in the fourth, helping the Lady Vikings pull out a 41-23 win.
Kinley Pope led Charlo with 13 points, while Dawn Blevins added another 12. Rachel Hoyt and Jordan Ludeman finished with five points apiece.
Noxon was led by Kim Marich, who had eight points, while Jordyn Wilkinson finished with six. With the loss, Noxon fell to 0-1 in conference and 3-1 overall.
