POLSON — Polson Dollars for Scholars provided 45 Polson High School graduates and alumni with $55,000 in scholarships in 2015. The organization has given out $216,150 for Polson graduates in its 10-year history.
As a fundraiser, Polson Dollars for Scholars is offering people a chance to win a trip a month.
The proceeds from the raffle will benefit students who graduated from Polson High School.
Former Polson teacher Sandy Denesen won the October trip when her name was drawn at the Polson Pirates/Frenchtown Broncs football game. Denesen won a one-night stay at a Missoula hotel plus four tickets to the Oct. 24 Montana Grizzlies vs. North Dakota State football game.
Raffle tickets are $25 apiece or five for $100.

For the first 11 drawings, the winning ticket will be removed for future drawings. All tickets, winning tickets included, will be entered in the grand prize drawing for the trip to Disneyland, according to Ryan Gage, a member of Polson Dollars for Scholars.
Gage brought the fundraising idea from Cut Bank, where it’s been very popular.
Trips:
– November: Whitefish Mountain Resort - winter. One-day ski passes for four with lodging in Whitefish.
– December: Schweitzer Mountain, Idaho — one-day ski passes for four with lodging.
– January: Fairmont Hot Springs — trip includes hotel stay plus pool and slide for family of four.
– February: Las Vegas — three night stay for two, Allegiant Air from Missoula, taxes, pre-assigned seats and one checked bag. Lodging at moderate hotel on the Strip.
– March: Silver Mountain Splash and Stay — Morning Star Lodge stay and passes to Splash and Stay for four people.
– April: Spokane theater, Broadway show in Spokane — one-night stay plus Broadway show tickets for two.
– May: Silverwood — Hotel stay in Coeur d’Alene and four passes to Silverwood.
– June: Whitefish Mountain Resort – summer. Zipline trip for four people.
– July: Northern Quest Casino, Spokane — one-night stay for two at Northern Quest
– Disneyland – Airfare, four nights stay at a good neighbor hotel and three-day hopper pass, shuttle transfer to and from airport to the property for four people.
