WEST GLACIER — Glacier National Park is proud to help launch the Every Kid in a Park program, as part of President Obama’s commitment to protect our nation’s unique outdoor spaces and ensure that every American has the opportunity to visit and enjoy them. Through the Every Kid in a Park program, fourth graders can now receive free access to federally managed lands during the 2015-16 school year.
To receive their free pass fourth graders can visit the Every Kid in a Park website and play a game to access their special pass. Fourth graders and their families can then use this pass for free entry to national parks and other federal public lands and waters across the country from Sept. 1, 2015 through Aug. 31, 2016. Learning activities aligned to education at Glacier National Park offer countless opportunities for youth and their families, including ranger-led hikes, campground talks, boat tours, a Junior Ranger Program, ranger-led education classroom field trips, and much more.
