RONAN — “Purpose is the reason for your journey, Passion is the fire that lights the way.”

“How do we, as seniors, continue to live with purpose and passion, even in our golden years?...”

Lately, I’ve asked myself the same question. My “drive” has lessoned, my spirit needs a kick-start and even my appearance needs more attention than my lawn. What’s a person to do?

If you experience any of the above, you’re definitely not alone. The Ronan Senior Center is on top of this because we are all in the same boat. Are you lacking pizzazz, no steam in the engine? That’s why the center’s activities are geared for you. Come and enjoy good food by Kim and Fay. There are volunteers help you and friendly staff who will make your experience a good one.

Call Martha at 406-676-2367 or the Council on Aging at 406-676-2371 if you have any questions; they will get it right.

Martha is now calling bingo.

A huge Senior Citizens’ and Counsel on Aging yard sale will be at the center on Sept. 25 and 26 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. If you are donating large items and need them picked up, call 406-676-2367 now.

Hearing tests will be given on Oct. 1 from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.  Flu shots will be given on Oct. 5 from 1-2:30 p.m. The COA spaghetti dinner on Sept. 26 is from 4:30-7 p.m. The price for dinner will be $7 for adults, $5 for children five and under. There will also be a dessert raffle during dinner.

Menu:

—  Wednesday, Sept. 23: chili

—  Friday, Sept. 25: roast beef with birthday dinner at noon

Remember to have “Purpose and Passion.” See you at the center.
