On Saturday, Oct. 3, there will be a special brunch at 10 a.m. at the
Arlee Senior Center. Our cook, Kelly B, will serve her special
quiche dish, with fruit, and a pumpkin bundt cake dessert. This is a
make up meal from Monday, Sept. 14, when the cooks attended the Area VI Nutrition and Food Safety continuing education class in St. Regis. This is a good way to start the weekend and be part of the Fall Festival activities happening in Arlee on Friday, Oct. 2, and Saturday, Oct. 3.
Along with food at the Fall Festival, there will be activities for children, music, and a variety of vendors and craftsmen, on both Friday afternoon and Saturday.
On Wednesday, Sept. 30, our foot care lady, Jane B., will be at the senior center at 10:30 a.m.
It’s the time of year to think about flu shots and there will be a Flu Shots Clinic at the Arlee Center on Wednesday, Oct. 21, from 10:30 a.m.-noon. If you haven’t received your flu shot already note that there have been cases of the flu documented already, so don’t miss an opportunity to avoid the flu or minimizing its effects by getting a vaccination.
