HELENA — On July 31, Governor Steve Bullock appointed Jasmine Courville-Brown of Ronan to the Flathead Basin Commission. Courville-Brown is a pesticide specialist for the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes. The Flathead Basin Commission’s purpose is to protect the existing high quality of the Flathead Lake aquatic environment and the waters that flow into, out of, or are tributary to the lake, as well as the natural resources and environment of the Flathead Basin.
