ARLEE — Arlee CDC presents an outdoor bluegrass Concert by Gravely Mountain Boys on Friday, Aug. 21. The concert and dinner will benefit the Jocko Valley Trails and help raise money to continue the wonderful work of this volunteer committee, building walking and bicycle trails in the Jocko Valley for residents and visitors.
Bring your lawn chair and dancing shoes and your friends and family too and join us in the parking lot of Hangin Art Gallery, along Highway 93 in downtown Arlee. Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m. with music and dancing from 7-10 p.m. Free will offering donations are appreciated.
The Jocko Valley Trails is an all-volunteer committee of the Arlee Community Development Corporation. Since 2006 they have planned and built miles of trails in the Jocko Valley with the assistance of partners Kicking Horse Jobs Corps, Salish Kootenai College, Lake County Commissioners, and the Montana Department of Transportation. They are currently working with regional planning groups to connect Jocko Valley trails to Missoula in the south, and Ravalli to the north.
