POLSON — Saturday-morning sunshine was a welcome sight for the Polson tennis team, and the girls and boys used the Vitamin D to their advantage, winning decisively in a season-opener over the visiting Libby Loggers, 7-0 and 6-1. The Loggers' only point came from doubles pair Rob Hamilton and Josh Broderick, who won their match by forfeit.
Polson was scheduled to host Hamilton Saturday afternoon, but that meet was canceled due to weather, head coach Bob Hislop said.
After hosting Bigfork and Corvallis Tuesday, Polson gets a break for the Easter weekend and will travel to Columbia Falls Thursday, April 12.
