RONAN — Congratulations to Brittany Oschmann-Cryer for being selected to receive the $1,000 K. William Harvey Memorial Scholarship for 2015.
K. William Harvey was Superintendent of Ronan School District No. 30 from 1968 to 1982.
Jay W. Preston Sr., owner of Access Montana (Ronan Telephone Company), served on the school board during part of Harvey’s time as superintendent. After Harvey died, Access Montana established this scholarship in his honor in 1989. The scholarship recipient has been selected every year for the last 26 years by Mrs. Betty Harvey and a representative of Access Montana.
Oschmann-Cryer’s application and goals for the future are very impressive. We wish her the best in her education and career. She will be attending the University of Montana in the fall.
The scholarship will be awarded to Oschmann-Cryer after the successful completion of her first semester of college.
