News from the Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana
NINEPIPE — The Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana approached Ronan teacher Hap Cheff and his 2015 Advanced Shop class to tackle a project of creating display cases for the museum gift shop. The class came up with a design of stackable boxes that resembled old apple crates, which they made out of pine and stained.
After the boxes were delivered and merchandise was stocked, the class posed for a photo next to the new merchandise display.
To say thank you, museum founder Bud Cheff hosted a tour through the museum for the class and teacher Hap, who had helped his Uncle Bud with building and setting up some of the early displays for the museum when it was first built. The unique shelving allows for creative displays and is a most welcome and appreciated addition to the gift shop. Stop by the museum and take a look at the great job done by this class of creative students.
