RONAN — Caterers, food truck owners and other professionals who direct market foods and need a commercial kitchen can rent one from Mission Mountain Food Enterprise Center in Ronan at the Lake County Community Development Corporation site.
The air-conditioned site that formerly housed the Mexican restaurant La Cocina de Esperanza is available for just $10 per hour, which includes the use of two commercial range/oven combos with a total of eight burners and a griddle; two stainless steel prep tables plus a separate vegetable washing/cutting sink; a sink with a commercial dishwashing machine; a floor mopping station, refrigerator, shelving and loads of space. Pots and pans, measuring cups and other utensils are not provided.
Strict guidelines must be followed for safe food handling, and reservations must be made in advance.
