The Mariners had a busy weekend of baseball at the Big Bucks Tournament in Libby, held in conjunction with the town’s Logger Days festival. The Mariners A team beat Cranbrook B 12-2 and chopped the Coeur D’Alene Loggers 10-3, but fell to Moscow 7-2 and Strathmore 9-5.
Earlier in the week, the visiting Bitterroot Bucs downed the Mariners in both rounds of a doubleheader, 7-6 and 7-4.
The Mariners also hosted the Missoula Mavs on Tuesday and will face the Bitterroot Red Sox at 4 p.m. today at O’Malley Park.
