More than 120 retrievers are competing in the National Amateur Retriever Club finals held in Polson and Ronan this week. Dogs from all over the United States and Canada poured into town to start the finals, which puts the dogs through retrieval exercises on land and water at properties throughout the valley. Spectators are welcome to watch the competition, which runs through Saturday or Sunday, depending on how the competition goes.
