POLSON — Lifelong Polson resident Katie Reilley, 43, died early in the morning hours of Jan. 22 at her home. Reilley has four children, Gracie, Maddie, Jenny and Logan, and is the daughter of Mary Foote and former Lake County Undersheriff Pat Kirwan.
According to Lake County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Mike Sargeant, law enforcement received a call to respond to 103 Orchard Park Lane at about 7:30 a.m. when Reilley was discovered.
The Polson Police Department and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation into Reilley’s death. Reilley’s body was taken to the crime lab in Missoula, and law enforcement is awaiting results of several specialized tests to determine the cause of death. Dr. Gary Dale, pathologist at the crime lab, said results should be available by Jan. 26 or 27.
Sargeant added that as far as he’s aware, no foul play was involved.
Reilley’s funeral will be held on Jan. 27 at 11 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
