Polson cleanup day planned

POLSON — The city-wide Polson Cleanup Day will be Friday, May 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Polson city staff will be coming around to residences within the city limits to pick up yard waste. Polson Park Superintendent Karen Sargeant reminded people to put the loose yard waste — grass clippings, leaves, etc. — in bags for easier pickup. The bags should be put next to the street.
Elderly or disabled citizens who are not able to get their yard waste next to the street can call Polson City Hall at 883-8202, give the clerk their name, address and telephone number.
“We will try to get you some help with your yard cleanup. If we have more citizens taking advantage of this service, we will continue the pickup on Monday, May 11,” Sargeant said.
