Members of Ronan High School’s spring sports teams — including, from left, Ronan High School track and field throwing coach Rod Harris, and athletes Aspen Jore, Alex Dennis and Ashley Peterson — commemorated National Volunteer Week by fanning out and cleaning up garbage around town last week. Ronan Booster Club Secretary Debbie Garcia said she thought it was a good idea for the kids to support the local community, because of the support the town, its people and businesses give to the sports teams. Two truckfulls of waste were collected.
