RONAN — The Ronan Jazz Band performed during their annual dinner dance in the high school gym Friday after returning the prior weekend from concerts in California. The band played at Disneyland’s California Adventure Backlot Stage and a veteran’s home in Barstow, California, where many former military musicians now live, according to band director Alicia Lipscomb. After their bus broke down in Irvine, California, the band chartered a bus to take them to Salt Lake City, Utah, where another Ronan school bus waited to take them to Montana. Upcoming events include the District Music Festival April 17- 18, the State Music Festival May 1-2, and Spring Fling May 18-19.
