POLSON — If you can’t thread the needle on a sewing machine while it’s running, you haven’t had enough coffee.

Because I was gone last week, the seniors’ no-tap bowling scores were not published. But it needs to be noted that Pat Reagan had a high series of 733. Last Tuesday’s stars were Cindy Lawin with a 203 for high women’s game. High men’s honors were shared by Larry Alter with 279, Ray Theiler with 278 and Keith Ross with 275. Cindy also had a 530 for high series and Ray had men’s high series with 760. The same two had the high handicap series.

Once again Jo and Shirley have used their talents to decorate the center for St. Patrick’ Day.

Today I noticed that the “Xmas tree” and decorations were gone and changed to match the season.

Our lunch menu for the coming week will be:

• Thursday, March 12: taco salad

• Friday, March 13: hot pork sandwich, mashed potatoes (change from beef)

•  Monday, March 16: sausage gravy, biscuits

•  Tuesday, March 17: corned beef and trimmings
