Hunter education classes begin this week

RONAN — Hunter Education Classes will be held at Westland Seed in Ronan from 4-6 p.m. Feb. 18 19, 20, and 23; field course is held Saturday, Feb. 21. An additional class will be held for the area in March.
All hunter education classes are free of charge. By state law, anyone born after Jan. 1, 1985, must have completed the Hunter Education Course to buy a hunting license in Montana. To attend class and become certified, students must be at least 11 years old.
All students must register online at fwp.mt.gov, click “education,” for courses. When registering, students will note specific information and guidelines for the course included in the online posting.
