News from the Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge
“As I grew up I was fervently desirous of becoming acquainted with Nature” (John James Audubon - Ornithological Biography, 1831). Montanans, help your sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, students learn about the fantastic nature of big sky country in the style of Audubon by submitting a drawing, painting of a duck, goose or swan to the Montana Junior Duck Stamp Contest. Entries must be postmarked by March 15, 2015 or hand delivered to Lee Metcalf National Wildlife Refuge, 4567 Wildfowl Lane, Stevensville, MT 59870. Any K-12 student attending public, private, charter, home school or art studio can enter.
