News from Journey Be

POLSON — The band Blue Smoke headlines the fifth annual Winter Fest, Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Mission Valley Elks Club in Polson. The event will begin at 5 p.m.

Your $10 admission includes a Montana Backyard Barbeque dinner. Children under 12 years old are free.

Robin Geoff will perform dinner music to set the tone for a dynamic evening of entertainment and fine dining. After a brief live auction, she will be joined by her lively dance band, Blue Smoke, from Bigfork.

A silent auction is also on tap with a 50/50 drawing and a basket raffle. Donation items for the auction are greatly appreciated.

Help us help others. This is a fundraiser for Journey Be, a nonprofit organization committed to addressing hunger and homelessness in your community.

Soup’s On at the Wander Inn is a free food program that serves lunch Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Wander Inn. We also serve dinner every fourth Friday at 5 p.m. These two programs have served more than 50,000 meals since 2010.

The Wander Inn is located just across from Dempsey’s Pawn Shop on Seventh Ave. W in Polson. Please visit our program for lunch and dinner. The meal is always free and all are welcome. Journey Be is currently building a transitional shelter at the same location.

For more information, call the Wander Inn between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday at (406) 883-5160, or call (406) 871-1109.
