HOT SPRINGS – The Lady Eagles picked up a conference win Friday, bringing them to a 3-4 league total.
At Hot Springs, the Lady Eagles overcame a fourth quarter rally by the Lady Savage Heat to log the 48-42 conference win. Two Eagle River had a strong 41-23 lead going into the fourth, but almost missed the mark with a comeback performance shrinking the point spread; yet the Lady Eagles prevailed, grabbing the 14-C victory.
Lady Eagle Casadi Wunderlich scored a team-high 13 for her team while Tyra Michel and Shay-Lyn Andrew each netted 10.
Saturday the Lady Eagles played Noxon but no results were reported.
Two Eagle River will play some travel ball with the next two games on the road. They will head to Charlo Thursday and then on to Victor on Friday.
