The 2015 edition of the Answer Book, a comprehensive guide to services in Flathead, Lake, Lincoln and Sanders Counties, is now available through the United Way. Copies are available at the United Way office at the Gateway Community Center in Kalispell in the former Gateway West Mall.
The Answer Book is also available on line through the Montana 211 Database Project at www.montana211.com. The database gives people in need an easy link to information about local resources and information about a variety of agencies, programs, and service clubs and support groups that provide basic human needs such as food, clothing, rental assistance, transportation or gasoline.
The United Way produces the book annually in conjunction with the Daily Inter Lake. Agencies and services not listed in this year’s Answer Book may call the United Way to be included in the database, which is updated throughout the year.
Last year, United Way Member Agencies helped 48,125 people in need. Ninety-nine percent of all funds raised stay in local communities to help local citizens.
