SUPERIOR – The Scarlets are off to a strong start in their first week of regular season play, picking up a couple of conference wins to boost their record to 3-1 overall.

Thursday the Scarlets challenged the Lady Bobcats in Superior. While pacing a smooth scoring frame-by-frame contest, the Scarlets pushed ahead for the lead after a deadlocked first quarter, knocking down Superior 50-43.

Bryndle Goyins led the Scarlets scoring 16 while Violet Pablo and Carly Hergett added double digits as well with Pablo netting 13 and Hergett 10.

Friday the Scarlets toasted the Lady Red Devils at Noxon 58-14.

The Scarlets will host Deer Lodge Jan. 2 and St. Regis Jan.3
