POLSON — Community members and artists have been busy painting bowls for the Mission Valley Aquatic Center’s fundraiser, Fill the Pool, Bowl by Bowl, held Nov. 15.
Yummy soups from local restaurants were on the menu at the MVAC with music by guitarist Nathan Eyre, followed by a silent auction.
Items up for auction included a stand-up paddle board, art, china, a clawfoot bathtub, an antique Crescent shotgun, a four-night stay in Hawaii and many more treasures. Following the auction, guests could dance the night away to music by Montana’s Dark Horse Band.
Approximately 600 people attended and supported the auction and dinner, raising about $25,000 to pay back construction debt, according to Tana Seeley, project director.
Seeley wanted to thank community members for their great support of MVAC as well as donations of auction items, food and time.
