LIBBY – The Polson Pirate football team trampled Libby scoring 48 to the Logger’s 14 in Libby Friday.
The Pirates scored seven times before the Loggers knew what hit them. Led by Pirate Jacob Clairmont who scored twice, Danny DiGiallonardo also put 106 yards under his feet on five carries driving one into the end zone to score.
Bridger Rowley pushed 89 yards of green on 12 carries while quarterback Wyatt Ducharme tossed 175 yards in the air completing 7-11 for three touchdowns.
The Pirates will make the long trek to Havre Oct. 17.
