Elizabeth Lask teaches math at Two Eagle River School. She moved here from Missoula, where she just earned her master’s degree in math education. Before that, Lask taught in Browning.
In her spare time, she plays the piano and hangs out with her cat, Roscoe.
“I just love working with students with lots of energy and personality,” Lask said.
The new TERS special education coordinator is Karen Nesbitt.
Nesbitt has had a place in Montana for 40 years, but before she began working at TERS, she had been teaching at the University of Hawaii.
She graduated from the University of Montana and Antioch University, Yellow Springs, Ohio. Nesbitt also studied at the University of Beijing in China and is an acupuncturist. She’ll also be teaching Tai Chi at TERS.
Nesbitt worked with Native Hawaiian students for many years and wants to teach Native American students.
“Well, what I love about teaching is the students,” she said.
Editor’s note: Some teachers did no respond to requests for information and photos. The Sept. 3 edition of the Valley Journal contained biographies of other Mission Valley teachers.
