RONAN — We had our annual yard sale last week and thanks go to all who made it a success. This includes all who donated to it, those who purchased from it, and especially those who worked it.
Our pork roast dinner is this Thursday, Sept. 11, and the meal starts at 5 p.m. The cost is only $5 per person and all are invited to join us.
We are taking applications for an assistant cook. I’m not sure when the closing date is, but you can pick up an application here at the center or at Job Service in Polson.
Cards will be played here at 7 p.m., on Monday, Sept. 15.
The foot clinic will be here from 10 a.m. until noon on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Give the center a call at (406) 676-2371 and we will put your name on the list. There is not a charge for this, but donations are appreciated.
We are still collecting aluminum cans for recycling. There is a drop off place at the back of the building. The money from this goes to help fund programs for the center and the Council on Aging.
Crafts take place on Wednesdays following the noon meal.
Our menu for the next two weeks is:
• Wednesday, Sept. 10: Chinese food
• Thursday, Sept. 11: pork roast at 5 p.m.
• Friday, Sept. 12: French dip
• Monday, Sept. 15: chicken cordon bleu
• Wednesday, Sept. 17: barbecue ribs
• Friday, Sept. 19: ham hock soup
Come on in and join us for a great meal, the cost is the cheapest in town.
Have a great week.
