MONTANA — The American Red Cross encourages all eligible blood donors to make an appointment to donate blood soon to help prevent a shortage.

A blood drive will be held in Polson on Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at Lake County Employees Office, 802 Main Street.

To donate blood, call 1-(800) 733-2767 or visit: redcrossblood.org to make an appointment or for more information. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or drivers license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in.
