The male subject found deceased in a field north of the Hwy 93 and Light Rd. intersection has been identified as 69 year old Bernard F. Carlson of Whitefish. The cause of death has not been determined pending the outcome of the medical examiners investigation. However, foul play is not suspected.
PABLO — Lake County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a man whose body was found Thursday in Pablo near S&K Holdings.
At approximately 4:45 p.m. on April 21 deputies responded to a call about a body found lying next to a disabled vehicle, Lake County Undersheriff Dan Yonkin said.
The car was high centered on an embankment, and the body is believed to be that of a Whitefish man in his 60s, Yonkin said.
"There were no obvious signs of injury," Yonkin said.
Authorities believe the body had been there for several days. The body was sent to the State Crime Lab to determine cause of death.
